The ELS Group LLC is a minority/woman owned and operated executive and mid management search firm specializing in providing recruitment and placement services to colleges and universities nationwide. We have conducted numerous executive level searches and placed interim personnel in higher education for our clients since 2004. Our competitive advantage resides in our commitment to excellence, strong network of professionals across the country, links to practicing personnel, depth, breadth, experience and the quality of our personnel. The three principals and their associates and advisers have a combined experience in higher education of more than 100 years. Our portfolios include long term experiences at urban, suburban, rural comprehensive community colleges, doctoral/research universities as well as Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The ELS Group personnel have significant experience serving as board members and officers for associations of higher education, public and non-profit organizations, and boards of secondary education at local, state and national levels.

The principals have held positions that include Superintendent/President, President, Associate Superintendent for Budget and Administrative Services, Director of Human Resources, Vice President for Instruction, Student Service and division/department deans. These higher education positions provide both depth and breadth that are important to our clients in their recruitment and coaching of the best leaders for their institution either full time or as an interim.
